Everyone deserves a beautiful sanctuary to call home. 

Founded in 2023, The Edit is the sister company of Studio Dean, the interior design full service studio. The team not only have a plethora of experience in the interior design industry but also textile and print design and product curation. 

One day over a cuppa the Studio Dean team discussed how they would love to share their distinctive look and design with more people. They realised they could translate their distinctive design aesthetic from interiors into wallpaper design and a curated range of products.

The in-house team began by creating The Studio Dean Edit’s debut wallpaper collection - Evolved. 

The Studio Dean Edit's wallpapers and products empower people across the UK to easily and enjoyably re-imagine their homes and bring a sense of aspirational design into their everyday lives.

THE EXPERTS

  • Following a successful career in London, Cathy returned to her native Northumberland to raise her family. She set up Studio Dean in 2016 to introduce her distinctive style and architecturally-focussed approach to interior design to the North East.

    Studio Dean has been fully booked ever since and the team has grown into a mid sized firm. Approached by Emma one day with an idea, a classic what if moment happened & with the skils and talents of her wider team the Interior Design Studio is now growing with the launch of The Edit bringing a slice of Studio Dean style to any home.

    Away from the Studio you’ll find Cathy in her stunning Northumberland home, Edinburgh pied-à-terre or touring the region’s climbing walls with her eldest climbing-obsessed child.

  • Natalie has been the voice of Studio dean for years being queen of all things copy written and in charge of our PR and Marketing.

    Now she is turning her hand to evangelising about our paper, she loves it so much her home office is covered in it and she loves it!

  • Sam is a key part of The Edit team, developing products and technology to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for our customers.

    He has an established e-commerce background, working with Net A Porter, Louis Vuitton, Celine and Tag Huer.

    Weekends will find Sam outdoors in his home in Northumberland when he can tear himself away from computer coding!
